PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY
Saturday 22nd October 2011 at the Ciné-TNB, Rennes
 
 
 
Since 2004, the Unis Vers Sept Arrive association has organized the Court Métrange Festival, a unique rendez-vous focusing on fantasy genre short films.

From October 20th to October 23rd, Court Métrange offered to 6358 spectators ten screenings of short films – three international programmes and six European programmes – as well as a screening at the Cinémaniacs ciné-club, three lectures and a Drive-in screening, which brings the 2011 global spectatorship up to 7152 people.

The 2011 jury, presided by Jean Pierre Dionnet, made up of Agnès Bellabre, Philippe Tessier, Nicolas Stanzick, Tom Mes, Jean-Pierre Bouyxou presented the following prizes:

The Format Court Métrange :
Prize presented by Format Court, an on line magazine dedicated to international short films. Focus dedicated to the selected short on www.formatcourt.com and projection in Paris and Brussels.

Three audience prizes have been awarded to international programmes :


- The Japanese place of honour :
The Orient Extrême screening, dedicated to Asian fantasy production, proposes, in partnership with our twin city Sendai, a program devised by the Short Films Festival of Sendai.

- The United-States programme :
A programme of short films selected in partnership with the Screemfest Horror Film Festival of California.
 
- The Mexico programme
Selected by the Court Métrange Festival.

Court Métrange is happy to inform you that the event joins, in 2012, the Federation of Fantasy Film Festivals, which will enable us to present the Golden Méliès (European recognition common to all federated festivals).
